Veronica Dunleavy O'Connor Veronica Dunleavy O'Connor is President and Managing Partner with over 25 years of business development and management consulting experience. Ms. Dunleavy has provided management consulting services to the health care and financial services industries for the past 20 years. Specific areas of focus include operational and service improvement, leadership development, regional consolidation and process standardization, cost reduction and enterprise-wide system migration initiatives. Her approach combines a bias toward action with a high degree of client participation and ownership to achieve longer term sustainable results.

Veronica's range of management consulting experience includes:

  • Leading implementation of financial services enterprise-wide process engineering effort
  • Streamlining scheduling and improving resource allocation for a home health services provider
  • Assisting national healthcare organization with regional consolidation and process reengineering of primary operations centers, consolidating locations from over 22 sites to 7
  • Assisting health care organization with implementation of enterprise-wide claims processing system and leading the related migration, resource training, alignment, project management, processing and service attainment with client teams throughout migration
  • Leading operational improvement and administrative reduction initiatives with client work teams for 14 separate BCBS plans
  • Advising health, dental, vision, pharmacy and life operations leadership regarding unit cost development, performance improvement and seamless service delivery across these specialty areas
  • Developing business strategy and assisting health care management operations with resource alignment, case management and provider maintenance operations for a national health care organization
  • Initiating data analysis efforts to identify, monitor and improve claims submission, care management, provider and broker submission anomalies, and fraud and abuse detection and resolution

Veronica served as vice president of account development and broker operations for Wall Street Clearing Company, a discount brokerage firm in New York, prior to becoming a management consultant. Her experience as a management consultant includes director level and senior management positions with Sikora & Associates, The SCA Group and Tier Technologies, Inc., prior to co-founding Questas Consulting.

She received her BS in Accounting from the University of Buffalo, New York, and earned Series 7 and Series 63 certifications in New York State.
